|Seeking a US Military Veteran, National Guardsman, Reservist, and/or Military Spouse to apply for a Communication Center Representative. Assist members and potential members who call; explain products, respond to problems and direct phone calls to appropriate area. Position requires 6 months of proven customer service experience.
Responsibilities: Veteran Military
- Greet callers, build relationships, and provide best-in-class customer service.
- Assist members and potential members who call; answer questions about products and resolve problems as authorized; refer problems beyond authority to supervisor, along with recommendations.
- Empathetically respond to member concerns and issues, ensure they feel valued and respected.
- Troubleshoot and resolve inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.
- Seek opportunities for cross-selling credit union products and services.
- Recommend additional products, services or referrals based on member needs.
- Ensure appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared.
- Maintain member account information on the computer system.
- This job has extensive telephone and computer work in a faced-paced, office environment.
Shift: 9am-6pm Monday - Friday, 9am-1pm Saturday. Must be able to work Saturdays every other week.
Requirements: Veteran Military
- US Veteran, National Guardsman, Reservist or Military Spouse
- High school diploma or GED.
- 6 months’ proven customer service experience.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to maintain confidences.
- Ability to work with a diverse member base while providing excellent customer service.
- PC skills in a Windows environment, proficient in word processing/data entry and 10-key.
- Ability to read, input, comprehend and communicate on-line data.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload; manages multiple priorities.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Multi-lingual capabilities to include Spanish are a plus.
