Hotel Banquet Server (on-call)
Hospitality: Banquet

Currently seeking a US Military Veteran, National Guardsman, Reservist and/or a Military Spouse to apply for a Banquet Server (on-call) position at a first-class hotel.  Oversee the overall management and operation of the hotel. Uses leadership skills to drive revenue, maximize profit and ensure quality.

Responsibilities: Veteran Military
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and create an inviting atmosphere.
  • Set up, maintain and take down banquet rooms after service/event has concluded, according to function specifications.
  • Adhere to all health regulations and local liquor laws. 
Requirements: Veteran Military
  • US Veteran, National Guardsman, Reservist or Military Spouse.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of guest service experience. 
  • 1+ years serving experience in a banquet environment preferred.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, it is a plus to include weekends and holidays. 
  • TIPS or CARE beverage service certification desired or ability to obtain certification is required. 
  • Must have exemplary customer service, attention to detail and perform job duties in a repetitious and fast paced environment. 
  • Must have the ability to speak, understand, and write English in order to meet guest’s needs.
Physical: Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout shift, and up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis. Requires ability to complete physically demanding responsibilities such as walking, standing, carrying, and moving about the property continuously throughout the shift.
